Additional India-Pakistan CT Tickets Sell Out Quickly, Setting a Record

The anticipation for the India-Pakistan showdown in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has soared, with tickets for the February 23 match in Dubai selling out in record time. The first batch was snapped up within an hour, reflecting immense global demand from cricket fans.

In response, the International Cricket Council (ICC) swiftly released additional tickets, but these too were gone within 90 minutes as eager fans rushed to secure their seats for the high-stakes encounter. Reports indicate that around 20,000 to 30,000 people competed online to purchase tickets, making it one of the tournament’s most in-demand events.

Ticket prices ranged from 500 to 12,500 dirhams, with premium and mid-range categories selling out rapidly. The overwhelming demand underscores the significance of the clash, often regarded as the biggest rivalry in cricket.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 kicks off on February 19 with Pakistan facing New Zealand in Karachi. India begins their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 before taking on Pakistan in Dubai under the ICC’s hybrid model, which keeps all Indian matches in the UAE while the rest of the tournament is played in Pakistan.
