Actor Mushtaq Khan has claimed he was kidnapped under the guise of attending an event. According to his business partner, Shivam Yadav, Khan was invited to an award show in Meerut on November 20, with an advance payment and flight tickets provided. Upon landing in Delhi, he was driven to a location near Bijnor, where he endured 12 hours of torture.
The kidnappers demanded ₹1 crore ransom but managed to withdraw over ₹2 lakh from Khan and his son’s accounts. Khan eventually escaped upon hearing the morning azaan, sought help from locals near a mosque, and safely returned home with police assistance.

An FIR has been filed, backed by evidence such as flight tickets, bank records, and CCTV footage. Khan has identified the location and house where he was held, and police are working to apprehend the culprits.
