Aaqib Javed Named For Sri Lanka‘s T20 World Cup Bowling Coach

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Sri Lankan Cricket announced the appointment of former Pakistani fast bowler Aaqib Javed as their fast bowling coach for the upcoming T20 World Cup. According to a press release, Javed, aged 22, will commence his new role in Sri Lanka promptly. He will be with the national team until the conclusion of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, slated to take place in the West Indies and USA in June 2024.

Aaqib Javed, a former player for Pakistan who transitioned into coaching, boasts a remarkable career record, having played 163 ODIs and 22 test matches, claiming 236 international wickets.
