Pakistani all-rounder Saim Ayub has reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings, moving ahead of Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza.
The ICC released its latest rankings on Wednesday, highlighting Ayub’s strong comeback in the T20I charts after his impressive displays in the recent tri-series. Ayub first reached the top position in early October but was later overtaken by Raza, whose explosive 33-ball century made headlines.
Ayub’s key performance in the tri-series final—where he played a major role in Pakistan’s six-wicket win over Sri Lanka—helped him rise back to the top. In the updated list, West Indies’ Roston Chase is ranked third among T20I all-rounders. India’s Varun Chakravarthy continues to lead the T20I bowling rankings.
Several Pakistani players also made gains. Abrar Ahmed climbed four places to become the fourth-best T20I bowler, while Mohammad Nawaz moved up two spots to 11th. Nawaz also jumped three places to secure fourth in the all-rounder rankings after earning the Player of the Tournament award.
Ayub, now 23, also improved in the T20I batting rankings, moving up two spots to 35th. Other updates include Shaheen Shah Afridi staying firm at 18th, Sufyan Maqeem dropping to 22nd, and Salman Mirza rising to 34th among T20I bowlers.
In T20I batting, India’s Abhishek Sharma remains No. 1. Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan slipped to 6th, while Babar Azam dropped one spot to 30th. In ODIs, Babar Azam holds steady at No. 6 among batters, and Abrar Ahmed, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf stay within the top 25 bowlers.
In Tests, Nauman Ali continues at No. 3 in the bowlers’ rankings, while Sajid Shakil moved up to 11th among Test batters.
