South Africa Beat India by a Massive Margin for Historic Sweep

South Africa crushed India by 408 runs in the second Test in Guwahati, securing a 2-0 series victory and ending their 25-year wait for a Test series win in India. Chasing a target of 549, India were dismissed for just 140 on the final day, with Ravindra Jadeja top-scoring with 54.

South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first, putting up an impressive 489 in their opening innings. India failed to match the momentum and were bowled out for 201, handing the visitors a huge lead. With a commanding advantage, the Proteas declared their second innings at 260 for 5, setting India a daunting total.

The hosts once again collapsed in the final innings, managing only 140 runs, which sealed a massive victory for South Africa.

The win is historic for the Proteas, as it is their first Test series triumph in India since 2000. It comes after their earlier 30-run win at Eden Gardens in the first Test of the series
