Gunfire Outside Cricketer Naseem Shah’s Home, Five Arrested

Unknown attackers opened fire at the residence of Pakistan’s fast bowler Naseem Shah, causing partial damage to the property in Lower Dir. Police reported that soon after the shooting, a significant police presence arrived at the location. The gunfire reportedly damaged the main entrance gate, several windows, and a vehicle parked inside the premises.

The assailants escaped before law enforcement could intercept them. Following the incident, police sealed off the area and initiated a search to track down those involved.

During the operation, authorities claimed to have apprehended five individuals believed to be linked to the attack. A formal case has been lodged at the local police station, and investigators are now collecting evidence and recording statements to determine the motive and identify any additional suspects. The inquiry remains active as police continue efforts to ensure the safety of the cricketer’s family and bring the perpetrators to justice
