Security forces have killed six terrorists belonging to the banned group Fitna-al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dalbandin, Balochistan. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched after credible reports about the presence of militants in the area.
The terrorists were involved in multiple attacks targeting security forces and innocent civilians in Balochistan. During the intense exchange of fire, six militants were killed, while weapons, ammunition, and communication equipment were recovered from their hideout.
The ISPR stated that such operations will continue until the province is completely cleared of terrorist elements. It added that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s security personnel are ensuring lasting peace and stability in the region.
Locals have appreciated the swift action by security forces, saying it has strengthened confidence in ongoing counterterrorism efforts. Authorities have also increased surveillance in surrounding areas to prevent any regrouping of militant cells.
