Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) announced that the Razgir-1 well was successfully brought onstream on October 12 at the Tolanj Production Facility. The move follows the completion of all regulatory approvals, marking an important step in the company’s exploration and production operations.
Production from Razgir-1 is being gradually increased. POL expects the well to reach a flow rate of 25.1 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 333 barrels per day of condensate by the end of the day. The company holds a 25 percent pre-commerciality interest in the well.
POL, a leading energy company in Pakistan, is actively involved in exploration, drilling, and production of crude oil and natural gas. The company also produces LPG, natural gas, and crude oil under the POLGAS brand, as well as through its subsidiary CAPGAS (Private) Limited. In addition, POL manufactures sulfur and solvent oil.
The Razgir-1 well is expected to contribute significantly to Pakistan’s domestic energy supply.
