Pakistan has issued a strong warning to the Afghan Taliban, stating that any future terrorist attack on its soil will be met with direct military action inside Afghanistan. The message follows a series of deadly cross-border assaults that Islamabad blames on militants operating from Afghan territory.
According to security sources, Pakistan has made it clear that its patience has limits, and it will no longer tolerate the presence of terrorist sanctuaries across the border. Officials stressed that retaliatory strikes could target militant hideouts if Afghanistan fails to act against groups attacking Pakistan.
The warning comes amid rising tensions between Islamabad and Kabul, as Pakistan continues to face cross-border terrorism despite repeated diplomatic engagements. Authorities have also urged the Taliban government to fulfill its commitment of not allowing Afghan soil to be used for violence against any country.
Experts believe the statement marks a significant policy shift, indicating Pakistan’s readiness to take stronger measures to protect its national security.
