Prime Minister has hailed the newly signed Gaza peace deal as a “historic step” toward achieving long-term stability in the Middle East. He said the agreement brings a ray of hope for millions affected by decades of conflict and violence in the region.

The PM emphasized that the peace deal marks the beginning of a new chapter where dialogue replaces confrontation. He urged all parties involved to honour their commitments, ensure the release of hostages, and uphold the ceasefire agreement in both spirit and action.

He also commended the countries that played a crucial role in mediating the Gaza peace deal, acknowledging their efforts to bridge divides and promote regional harmony. The prime minister noted that global cooperation and humanitarian concern were key to reaching this breakthrough.

Highlighting the humanitarian aspect, he said that immediate relief and reconstruction in Gaza must remain the top priority. The PM called for unimpeded aid delivery, restoration of essential services, and rebuilding of destroyed infrastructure to help the people of Gaza live with dignity and peace.

He further added that peace in Gaza is not only vital for Palestinians but also for the entire Middle East. A stable and peaceful region, he said, would open the door to economic growth, regional trade, and a better future for upcoming generations.

The prime minister concluded that Pakistan stands firm in supporting peace and justice for the people of Palestine and will continue to advocate for their rights on international platforms.
