PM Shehbaz Leaves for Malaysia to Boost Trade and Investment

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has begun a three-day official visit to Malaysia for key talks on trade, economy, and bilateral cooperation.

The trip comes at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Shehbaz Sharif said his agenda focuses on boosting economic partnerships, strengthening strategic cooperation, and addressing global and regional issues, reaffirming that Pakistan-Malaysia relations will continue to grow.

High-level discussions are expected to explore opportunities in IT, telecom, halal food, investment, education, energy, infrastructure, and the digital economy, along with enhancing people-to-people exchanges.

Several agreements and MoUs are likely to be signed, consolidating existing ties and paving the way for new collaboration.

The premier is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, cabinet members, and senior officials, underscoring the significance of the visit.

Pakistan and Malaysia, bound by decades of friendly relations, aim to further advance cooperation in trade, investment, and key industries.
