Sameer Khan has etched his name in history by winning the UBO Youth World Bantamweight Championship, giving Pakistan its first-ever title in the tournament.
The Pakistani fighter faced India’s Bunty Singh in the final and dominated from the opening moments. Competing in the 52-kg category, Sameer Khan controlled the bout and delivered decisive blows that left his rival unable to bounce back.
Though Singh tried to counter with an aggressive response, including a shove early on, Sameer Khan regained command and sealed a comprehensive victory.
