Pakistan Sends 23rd Relief Consignment to Palestine

On the directives of the Prime Minister, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched its 23rd humanitarian consignment, carrying 100 tonnes of relief supplies for the people of Palestine via a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.

The shipment includes ration bags with flour, rice, cooking oil, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, and canned fruits. With this dispatch, Pakistan has so far sent 2,227 tonnes of aid through 23 consignments.

Governor Punjab Sardar Salim Haider Khan attended the send-off ceremony as chief guest, alongside government officials, NDMA representatives, and members of Alkhidmat Foundation. In his address, the Governor lauded NDMA and welfare organizations for their timely efforts and expressed gratitude for their dedication.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the people of Palestine, stressing that they are Pakistan’s brothers and sisters facing severe oppression. He condemned Israel for targeting civilians in Gaza, particularly children, and for violating humanitarian norms. He urged the United Nations to take serious notice of Israeli aggression and called on Islamic countries to unite in support of Palestine.
