The Ministry of Religious Affairs has begun receiving applications for the Private Hajj Scheme 2026, giving thousands of pilgrims the opportunity to book their slots.
As per official details, 37,903 new applicants will be accommodated this year, while 22,097 pilgrims who could not perform Hajj last year have been automatically re-registered with priority. Private operators have been instructed to confirm and prioritize these leftover pilgrims before processing fresh applications.
The total quota for private operators has been fixed at 60,000 pilgrims, with 22,097 slots for previously registered applicants and 37,903 for new ones.
Meanwhile, the Government Hajj Scheme 2026 application process has already concluded, receiving 118,060 applications nationwide within 17 days. The scheme offered both short and long-duration packages, with applications accepted online and through designated banks on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants under the government scheme have deposited 50% of the package cost as the first instalment, while the remaining balance is due on November 1, 2025.
According to estimates, the total cost for Hajj under the government scheme will range between Rs. 1.15 million and Rs. 1.25 million, depending on the applicant’s region and stay duration.
