Pakistan to Launch 'Pakistan Mart' in Dubai to Promote Exports

A high-level delegation from Pakistan’s National Logistics Corporation (NLC) and UAE-based DP World visited the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to introduce their joint project, “Pakistan Mart,” designed to boost the global presence of Pakistani goods.

Led by Brigadier Mohammad Yousaf, Director of Plans at NLC, the delegation included DP World’s Head of Traders Markets Abdullah Yaqoob Al Sayed Ahmad Al Hashmi, Vice Chairman Fakhre Alam, and NLC’s Director of Business Junaid Tariq.

Brigadier Yousaf shared the vision behind Pakistan Mart, explaining that the Dubai-based hub will provide advanced logistics, warehousing, and retail services to help Pakistani producers access markets in the Middle East, Africa, and South America.

Al Hashmi called the initiative a “gateway to global trade,” highlighting its integrated infrastructure built to international standards. Fakhre Alam added that Pakistan Mart would offer a premium platform to showcase Pakistani products and enhance the country’s export potential.

ICCI’s Senior Vice President Faad Waheed Siddiqui described the project as a significant step forward for Pakistan’s export and logistics sectors. He noted that the collaboration between NLC’s regional strength and DP World’s global reach would create major opportunities for businesses and assured ICCI’s full backing.

Vice President Azhar ul Islam Chaudhry expressed optimism that the venture would support export growth and strengthen Pakistan’s cultural influence abroad.
