Pakistan’s Most Powerful Tractors Set To Enter The Market Soon

Pakistan is set to welcome its most powerful tractors yet, with three new models entering the market soon. These tractors will offer horsepower between 105 and 140, a major leap from the common 75 HP machines currently used by farmers.

Pak Tractor Manufacturing Company is introducing these models in partnership with China’s YTO Group, the largest tractor maker in China. Initially, the tractors will be imported as Completely Built Units (CBUs). The company plans to start local assembly within a year.

These tractors will be the most powerful models ever launched in Pakistan. The three versions — EX1054 (105 HP), X1204 (120 HP), and EX1404 (140 HP) — are priced at Rs. 7.2 million, Rs. 10.5 million, and Rs. 11.9 million, respectively.

Currently, there are only 1,000 to 2,000 high-powered tractors in full use across Pakistan. The company hopes to add 500 to 1,000 new units each year. It will also run awareness campaigns to help farmers shift from outdated machines.

Dealers will handle customer bookings, while corporate clients can place bulk orders directly. Each tractor is also expected to qualify for the government’s interest-free loan scheme for agricultural machinery.

The new models include advanced features such as:

  • YTO engines with 30% torque reserve
  • Italian drivetrain technology
  • Independent double-acting clutch
  • Wet disc braking systems
  • Dual PTO output options
  • Force-down lifters for better soil control
  • Front and rear weight ballasts

With these launches, Pakistan’s agriculture sector is moving toward greater efficiency and modern farming methods. The company’s long-term goal is to reduce the country’s reliance on older, low-power tractors and boost farm productivity nationwide.

This marks a strong step forward in Pakistan’s journey toward agricultural modernization.
