Punjab Police in Daska have arrested a man for impersonating a Pakistan Army colonel. The suspect tried to influence Assistant Commissioner Sadia Jaffer’s decision in a land dispute case.
According to officials, the accused contacted the AC by phone. He falsely claimed to be a serving army officer and asked her to intervene in the property matter. He also sent several messages to pressure her.
AC Sadia Jaffer became suspicious due to grammatical errors and inconsistencies in the caller’s communication. The impersonator even said his “representative” would visit her office. This raised more doubts about his identity.
After receiving the complaint, Punjab Police launched an investigation. They traced the suspect’s phone number and location, which led to his arrest.
