Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Gandapur has claimed his government achieved the highest revenue collection in Pakistan’s history. He stated that KP collected Rs2.5 billion in a short time, setting a new benchmark for other administrations.

In an interview with Samaa TV, Gandapur challenged past and present governments to match his performance. He said his goal is to outperform four previous terms in a single term.

The chief minister also criticized JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, pointing to his recent electoral loss. Gandapur questioned his rival’s leadership and political relevance.

Turning to national politics, Gandapur confirmed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will begin a movement on August 5. He said the date was chosen following advice from the party founder to wait until after Muharram.

Earlier, on July 12, Gandapur issued a 90-day ultimatum to the federal government. He warned that if PTI’s objectives—especially the release of Imran Khan—are not met, party leaders will leave politics.

Speaking at a PTI gathering near Jati Umrah, he declared that the party would no longer remain silent. He described the current situation as “state-sponsored oppression” and vowed to resist it politically.

The KP government says it will continue to work for financial reform and political stability. With rising tensions and a national movement approaching, Gandapur has become a central figure in Pakistan’s evolving political landscape.
