Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States, holding it accountable alongside Israel for the deadly airstrikes on Tehran that killed several high-ranking Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists. In a statement released Friday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said the attacks were coordinated with Washington and warned of severe consequences.
Calling the strikes a blatant act of aggression, the ministry invoked Iran’s right to retaliate under the UN Charter. It emphasized that Israel could not have carried out such a wide-ranging and precise operation without the knowledge and approval of its primary ally, the United States.

“The dangerous and far-reaching consequences of the Zionist regime’s attack on our homeland will fall not only on them but also on their backers,” the statement declared, warning that Iran would hold both parties responsible for any resulting instability.
The comments follow a wave of Israeli airstrikes on key targets in Tehran that claimed the lives of General Mohammad Bagheri, IRGC commander Major General Hossein Salami, and two senior nuclear scientists. The incident marks a major flashpoint in an already volatile regional climate.
