Pakistani Forces Eliminate 14 Militants in Major North Waziristan Operation

In a significant counter-terrorism success, Pakistan’s security forces neutralized 14 militants linked to the Indian-backed group Fitna-ul-Khawarij during a high-stakes operation in North Waziristan’s Dattakhel region. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the incident on Wednesday, stating that the raid was launched overnight between June 2 and 3 based on credible intelligence.

A fierce exchange of fire resulted in the destruction of the terrorist hideout, with security forces swiftly gaining control of the area. The ISPR also reported that a clearance operation is still underway to eliminate any remaining threats, reaffirming the military’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.

“Our forces are determined to completely eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism from Pakistani soil,” said an ISPR spokesperson, emphasizing the resolve of the armed forces to defend the nation’s sovereignty against foreign-sponsored militancy.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the armed forces for their professionalism and effectiveness, asserting that the enemies of peace would never succeed in destabilizing the country. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan echoed this sentiment, highlighting the success as part of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and calling it a clear message to hostile forces.
