Azma Bokhari Urges Continuation of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos to Eliminate Indian Proxies
LAHORE – Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari on Wednesday emphasized the need to continue Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos to dismantle Indian-backed terrorist networks operating in Balochistan.
Speaking to the media, Bokhari stated, “Indian proxies have long been involved in terrorism in Balochistan. Unlike India, we do not make baseless claims — the DG ISPR has already presented concrete evidence of Indian involvement.”

Commenting on the recent Khuzdar bombing, Bokhari revealed that Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir postponed a high-level meeting to honor the victims of the tragedy.

In a separate development, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentary party convened under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, where lawmakers paid glowing tributes to Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Gen Asim Munir for the successful execution of the counter-terror operation.
The meeting included heartfelt prayers for the martyrs and acknowledgment of the operation’s strategic impact. Lawmakers also praised the government for launching over 80 development projects simultaneously across Punjab.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz personally engaged with lawmakers, inquiring about their constituencies and providing a three-hour comprehensive briefing on each development initiative underway.
