PSL X United Signs Rassie van der Dussen Following Alex Hales

Islamabad United has announced the return of South African batter Rassie van der Dussen for the remaining matches of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The franchise confidently declared, “Woh Aa Raha Hai!! Rassie van der Dussen is back.”

Van der Dussen previously played for Lahore Qalandars in the 2024 edition of the PSL. Before that, he represented Islamabad United, making this comeback a return to his former team following his stint in 2023.

Other Player Returns for PSL X
  • Alex Hales has also rejoined Islamabad United and confirmed his availability for the remaining fixtures starting May 17. Hales expressed enthusiasm, saying, “Islamabad United was my first PSL team. The fans and franchise have always supported me, and I’m thrilled to return to Pakistan to play again.”
  • Karachi Kings players David Warner and Ben McDermott have confirmed their return to Pakistan for the rest of the tournament.
  • James Vince and Mohammad Nabi have agreed to come back as well, though their participation depends on the timely issuance of NOCs and visas.
  • The return of Kane Williamson and Tim Seifert appears unlikely at this stage.

Franchises are actively working to bring back their overseas stars as preparations intensify for the tournament’s concluding matches.
