Trump Pledges Support to Resolve Kashmir With Pakistan, India

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has offered to assist India and Pakistan in resolving the longstanding Kashmir conflict, following a ceasefire agreement between the two nations.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump said he is ready to work with both countries on a solution to the Kashmir issue, which he called a centuries-old problem.

He commended the leadership of both nations for choosing to de-escalate tensions, noting their decision helped avert widespread destruction and loss of life. “Millions of innocent lives were at stake,” Trump stated.

Trump added that the U.S. contributed to the ceasefire efforts and announced plans to increase trade with both India and Pakistan.

This marked his second post in a few hours celebrating the ceasefire, which came after mutual strikes along the Pakistan-India border.
