Lahore High Court Petition Seeks Ban on Soft Drinks and Synthetic Juices in Punjab Schools
LAHORE – A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court calling for a ban on the sale and consumption of soft drinks and synthetic juices in schools across Punjab.
The petitioner, Azam Butt, through his counsel Rana Sikandar, argued that these beverages often contain harmful artificial coloring agents and additives that enhance flavor but pose serious health risks to students.
