Bangladesh Announces Squad for T20I Series Against Pakistan
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named its squad for the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan, which is set to begin on May 25 in Faisalabad.
Star batter Litton Das will lead the national side, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz appointed as vice-captain.
The squad features a blend of experienced players and emerging talents as Bangladesh aims to build momentum ahead of major ICC events. In addition to Litton and Mehidy, the selectors have included Soumya Sarkar, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, and Shamim Hossain to strengthen the batting lineup.

Emerging players such as Tanzid Hasan, Mohammad Parvez Hossain Emon, Zakir Hasan, and Rishad Hossain will also have the opportunity to showcase their skills on the international stage.
In the bowling department, Mustafizur Rahman will lead the pace attack, supported by Tanvir Islam, Hasan Mahmud, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib. The squad also includes young fast bowlers Nahid Rana and Sharifullah Islam, adding variety and depth to the bowling options.
T20I Series Schedule
On April 30, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officially announced the schedule for the series, which will consist of five T20 matches. Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium will host international cricket for the first time in 17 years, marking a significant milestone.
The first two matches will be held in Faisalabad on May 25 and May 27, while the remaining three matches will take place in Lahore on May 30, June 1, and June 3.
