Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed and her husband, Professor Atiq Ahmad, were arrested by police on Monday near Kot Lakhpat Jail. The couple was detained shortly after Sanam Javed had attended a court hearing related to the May 9 cases.
According to sources, a heavy police presence, including several vehicles, quickly surrounded the couple as they left the premises of Kot Lakhpat Jail. The reasons for their detention remain unclear, as no official statements have been issued by the authorities.

The couple was taken into custody and transferred to an undisclosed location, leading to growing speculation about the nature of their arrest. The incident has raised concerns and drawn attention due to the lack of transparency surrounding the detention.
