Islamabad United Sign West Indies’ Kyle Mayers as Replacement for Van der Dussen and Matt Short in PSL 2025

Islamabad United have made a crucial change to their squad ahead of the upcoming matches in PSL 2025 by adding experienced all-rounder Kyle Mayers from the West Indies. The move comes as a response to the unavailability of two foreign players, Rassie van der Dussen from South Africa and Matt Short from Australia.

Mayers Replaces Van der Dussen and Short

Van der Dussen withdrew from the competition due to personal reasons, while Matt Short also exited the squad. To fill the gap, Islamabad United moved quickly, securing Mayers as a replacement. His addition aims to strengthen the squad for the remainder of the tournament.
