On April 22, 2025, the ASEAN-Pakistan Technology Expo 2025 (APTEX’25) unfolded at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, spotlighting cross-regional innovation and collaboration. Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus, Deputy Head of Mission, attended the event alongside tech leaders and policymakers from ASEAN nations and Pakistan.
Chief Guest H.E. Mr. Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary, Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, underscored the pivotal role of regional cooperation in science and technology for sustainable development and shared prosperity.
APTEX’25 showcased pioneering research and innovation across digital transformation, green tech, smart manufacturing, and artificial intelligence. It also offered a platform to strengthen academic and industrial ties between ASEAN and Pakistan.
The expo marked a forward-looking step in uniting regional expertise to tackle global challenges and build a tech-driven future together.
