Pakistani YouTuber and self-styled scholar Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza has stirred controversy after suggesting permanent relocation of Palestinians from Gaza, citing the region’s destruction and worsening humanitarian crisis.
In a widely circulated video, the Jhelum-based commentator criticized the Arab world’s inaction against US-backed Israeli offensives. While previously in favor of a two-state solution, Mirza now believes Gaza is no longer livable due to the extensive devastation.

He urged Arab nations to host Gaza’s estimated 8 million residents, proposing they be given permanent refuge to alleviate their suffering.
His remarks sparked major backlash online, with critics accusing him of echoing Western narratives and undermining Palestinians’ right of return. Many called his proposal harmful and unrealistic, linking it to past suggestions by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who similarly floated relocation ideas for Palestinians
