As Eidul Azha 2025 approaches, authorities in Karachi have disclosed the location and opening date of the city’s main cattle market. The market will be set up along the Northern Bypass and will open to the public from April 19, according to the official announcement.

This year, the administration has introduced several improved facilities for traders, including uninterrupted electricity, water supply, ATM access, and reduced parking charges. Entry will be granted to vehicles that possess valid passes. Compared to the previous year, a 50% discount is being offered on motorcycle and car passes.

“VIP traders” will benefit from discounted tent rentals provided by the administration, and food stalls have already begun to appear within the marketplace. These steps aim to create a more organized and accommodating environment for both buyers and sellers.

Eidul Azha is anticipated to fall on June 7 in Pakistan, as predicted by astronomers. The Islamic festival commemorates the sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismael (AS), and is marked by animal sacrifices, communal prayers, family gatherings, and acts of charity. If the moon is sighted on May 28, Eidul Azha holidays in Pakistan are expected from June 6 to 9, with normal routines resuming on June 10.
