Audi has officially revealed the 2025 A6 Avant, a refreshed model offering both petrol and diesel engine options—unlike many of today’s fully electric launches. With its updated design, advanced technology, and improved driving dynamics, the A6 Avant aims to lead the executive wagon segment.

For the UK market, the A6 Avant will come with two engine options. The petrol variant features a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 261 hp and 340 Nm of torque, while the diesel option delivers 335 hp and 400 Nm of torque, paired with all-wheel drive and a 48V mild hybrid system. Both engines are matched to an eight-speed automatic gearbox for a smooth, refined driving experience.

Interior & Technology
Audi’s latest interior design incorporates cutting-edge technology, including a panoramic driver’s display, an optional passenger screen, and standard ambient lighting. Additional features include a massive panoramic sunroof with switchable elements, adaptive cruise control, 360° parking cameras, and Park Assist Plus, which enables the car to park itself.

Practicality & Comfort
While the A6 Avant remains a comfortable and practical vehicle, the boot space has slightly decreased, with the petrol version offering 503 litres and the diesel version 466 litres. However, an electric boot lid with a kick-to-open feature now comes standard.

RS6 Coming Soon
Audi has confirmed that an RS6 model is in development, likely featuring a plug-in hybrid system powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, potentially delivering up to 660 hp.
Pricing & Availability
The 2025 Audi A6 Avant will be available for purchase starting April 1st, with the petrol model priced at approximately $645,000 in international markets. Audi has also refined the ride quality, making it 30% quieter than its predecessor, and introduced a brake-by-wire system for a more natural braking feel.
