Kidnapped man recovered

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]PESHAWAR: On Saturday, Peshawar police successfully recovered a guy who had been held captive there for three lakh US dollars in ransom.

At a news conference, SP Saddar Division Malik Habib informed the media that the 20-year-old guy had been abducted on January 20 while under the control of the Badaber Police Station and that the kidnappers had wanted $300,000 in exchange for his safe return.

He claimed that the victim was held captive in the remote Tirah valley of the Khyber tribal district close to Orakzai, in a mountainous area, in a cave.

The SP stated that the kidnapped man was detained in various locations, transferred regularly, tortured, and that voice messages were transmitted to his family.

The SP also said that the abducted man was from the Patrak neighbourhood of Dir and a student at a religious seminary in Peshawar.

After receiving an anaesthetic injection, he was taken hostage in Scheme Chowk at the invitation of a Facebook buddy named Saddam, SP Habib continued.

He claimed that the kidnapped man was left behind as the suspects in the abduction managed to escape before the police raid.

He claimed that the suspects in the horrible act had been identified, and that searches were being conducted to apprehend them.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
