Traffic Plan Revealed for Tri-Nation Series in Lahore

Lahore Traffic Police have finalized plans for smooth traffic management during the tri-nation series, deploying over 1,000 officers on duty. Additionally, 20 forklifts and four breakdown vehicles will be used to address wrong parking and ensure roads remain clear, Express News reported.

Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Dr. Athar Waheed stated that spectators can park at designated areas, including Government College, Liberty, CBD near Centre Point, and LDA Plaza. He assured that no roads would be permanently closed during the event.

Temporary traffic halts may occur during team departures, but roads will reopen promptly afterward. Major roads such as Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, and Ferozepur Road will remain open throughout the series.

Dr. Waheed urged citizens to park only in designated areas to maintain smooth traffic flow. Updates will be shared via the Rasta app and Rasta FM 88.6 for public convenience.

The traffic police have guaranteed minimal disruptions for commuters, encouraging adherence to traffic rules for a seamless experience.

  • February 8: Pakistan vs. New Zealand (Day-Night) – Gaddafi Stadium
  • February 10: New Zealand vs. South Africa (Day Match) – Gaddafi Stadium
  • February 12: Pakistan vs. South Africa (Day-Night) – National Stadium, Karachi
  • February 14 (Final): National Stadium, Karachi (Day-Night)
