New iPhone Access from the Start Menu
The iPhone integration is available in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 4805 or higher, offering a smoother experience for iPhone users within the Windows ecosystem. Users need Phone Link version 1.24121.30.0 or later to enable seamless connectivity between iPhones and Windows PCs.
To use this feature, users must have a PC with Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) capabilities and an active Microsoft account.
Availability and Future Rollout
This iPhone integration is being rolled out gradually to Insiders, but Microsoft is expected to expand it to regular Windows 11 builds in the coming months. While there is no fixed launch date yet, it’s expected to reach the stable version of Windows 11 soon. It’s unclear whether this feature will be available for Windows 10 users.
With this update, Microsoft aims to offer a more unified experience across devices, helping iPhone users stay connected and productive while working on their Windows PCs.
