The CDA Chairman will serve as the committee’s chair, and it will be made up of representatives from the planning, estate, engineering, environment, law, and coordination departments.
The committee’s secretary will be Yasir Farhad, the recently appointed Deputy Director General of Coordination, who will also offer assistance to make sure the committee functions properly.
The Chairman observed that during his first month in office, citizens were dealing with a variety of issues related to unimportant issues like the allocation and possession of plots, the approval of building plans, unauthorised encampments, and delays in the issuance of layout plans for housing societies.

The committee will also examine grievances regarding encroachment issues in various regions including Islamabad’s natural waterways. On a priority basis, it would also address difficulties encountered by those impacted by Islamabad’s development projects, environmental pollution, and unlawful tree cutting.
Citizens may send their concerns to the committee secretary after the committee has been consulted. The secretary will keep a record of all complaints and the progress made on them. The committee will meet once a week to go over each complaint in depth. Also, the committee secretary will strive to swiftly settle complaints with the relevant Director-General.
