The Special Court hearing the Toshakhana Case II expressed dissatisfaction with the absence of Bushra Bibi, wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, and her legal representative, warning that their failure to attend could result in losing the right to cross-examine witnesses.

The hearing, led by Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand, took place at Adiala Jail, where PTI Chairman Imran Khan was present in court.

Neither Bushra Bibi nor her lawyer, Arshad Tabraiz, appeared for the session. Imran Khan’s lawyer, Qausain Mufti, completed the cross-examination of prosecution witness Muhammad Ahmed.

The judge voiced frustration, emphasizing that the defense counsel’s absence at the next hearing would lead to revocation of their cross-examination rights.

So far, five witnesses have testified in the Toshakhana Case II. The court has summoned two additional prosecution witnesses for the next hearing and adjourned the case until January 14.
