Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh embraced parenthood earlier this year with the arrival of their daughter, Dua. Fans have been eagerly waiting for a glimpse of the couple’s baby, and on Monday, Deepika and Ranveer revealed Dua’s face to the paparazzi, but with a request: they asked that no photos of the baby be clicked or published.
The couple hosted an informal meet-and-greet for about 15-20 paparazzi at the clubhouse of their Prabhadevi residence in Mumbai, where they introduced their daughter. Deepika, dressed in a beige gown, introduced baby Dua, who wore a simple white outfit and clung to her mother during the interaction. Ranveer was seen in an all-white outfit as the couple posed for the photographers, but emphasized that they wanted to keep their daughter’s photos private for the time being.
In a touching moment captured in one of the pictures, the couple gazed lovingly at each other, while in a video, Ranveer sweetly kissed Deepika’s cheek. A paparazzi account shared the images, with the caption, “Baby Dua, who looks as angelic as an angel, is definitely all set to become the cynosure of every eye!”
Paparazzo Pallav Paliwal shared the details of the event, noting the couple’s hospitality and the care they took to ensure that Dua wasn’t disturbed. “When we reached, Deepika and Ranveer were there. Deepika went inside and brought baby Dua in her arms. The whole time, Dua clung to her mother. They requested us not to make too much noise as Dua had just woken up from her nap,” Paliwal shared. “They asked us not to click or publish Dua’s photos until they were ready.”

The couple also showed their appreciation by offering Sindhi sweets to the paparazzi, with Ranveer ensuring the sweets were served perfectly. “They gave sweets for families,” Paliwal added.
Fans on social media praised the couple’s warm gesture, calling them “cute parents” and commenting on their strong bond. Some fans, however, remained curious about seeing more photos of baby Dua.
This private approach mirrors that of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, who have also requested privacy for their child while interacting with the paparazzi, promising to pose for photos on occasions when their children were not present.
On the work front, Ranveer and Deepika were last seen in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, which featured an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar. Despite a strong opening, the film later faced a slowdown at the box office after clashing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
