The process of transferring convicts involved in the May 9 tragedy to prison has started. Eleven individuals sentenced by military courts have been moved to Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.
According to authorities, seven of the convicts have received 10 years of rigorous imprisonment, two others have been sentenced to six years, one convict got a four-year sentence, and another was given two years. These sentences come as a result of their involvement in the May 9 incident.

The convicts, who include individuals from Lahore, the twin cities, and Nowshera, will now serve their sentences in Kot Lakhpat Jail. This marks the beginning of the judicial process for those found guilty of participating in the tragic events.
