A polio vaccination team was attacked in Korangi, leaving two polio workers and a policeman injured. The assault, carried out by a local family, involved the use of shovels and resulted in significant injuries. Authorities swiftly responded to the situation, arresting six individuals, including four women, in connection with the attack. A heavy contingent of police and Rangers was dispatched to restore order in the area.

SSP Korangi confirmed the arrests and stated that strict action would be taken against those responsible for the assault on the polio workers. The injured individuals were promptly given medical treatment.
