The Balochistan Education Department has announced winter vacations with differing durations for colder and warmer areas. According to the notification, schools in colder regions will observe holidays from December 16, 2024, to February 28, 2025. Meanwhile, schools in warmer areas will have a shorter break from January 1 to January 10, 2025.
Educational institutions in colder parts will reopen on March 1 after a two-and-a-half-month break. The department has also released academic results for public and private schools, and Balochistan University began its winter break on December 14.

In Sindh, the provincial government announced winter vacations for all schools and colleges, set to run from December 22 to December 31, 2024. Educational institutions will resume on January 1, 2025, as confirmed by the Sindh Education Department. These holidays aim to address harsh weather conditions. An official notification is expected soon to formalize the decision.
