Senior lawyer Salman Akram Raja resigned as the secretary general of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), citing personal reasons. His resignation follows closely after PTI’s recent protest in Islamabad.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar confirmed receipt of the resignation, while reports indicate that the party is attempting to persuade Raja to reconsider. The final decision on his resignation will be made by PTI founder Imran Khan.
