As of the latest update, Bitcoin has a fully diluted market capitalization of $2.08 trillion, with 19.78 million coins in circulation. The cryptocurrency has seen aggressive growth this year, doubling in value and increasing by about 40% in the two weeks following the US elections earlier this month.
Bitcoin’s remarkable ascent is attributed to rising global adoption of cryptocurrencies, bolstered by institutional investment and favorable regulations. The currency’s journey is notable, especially considering that in 2022, it fell below $16,000, making its recovery of over $80,000 since then a significant milestone.
