Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur met with former Prime Minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Tuesday to discuss the upcoming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest planned for November 24. The meeting also focused on the party’s security arrangements and strategies for engaging with the Apex Committee, which coordinates provincial and federal affairs. As a precautionary measure, heightened security was deployed around Adiala Jail in anticipation of the visit.
In the lead-up to the protest, Bushra Bibi, wife of Imran Khan, has urged PTI supporters to view the November 24 protest as a fight for the country’s future, rather than focusing solely on Imran Khan’s release. An audio message from Bushra Bibi has emerged, where she instructs party workers on organizing the protests effectively. She emphasized the need to involve both party members and the general public, and suggested that workers should record videos to showcase the widespread support.

She also addressed potential challenges, advising workers to make alternative arrangements for communication if the internet is shut down during the protests. Highlighting the role of social media, she encouraged YouTubers and influencers to share live footage to spread the message quickly. Bushra Bibi reassured workers that those injured during the protest would be cared for by their respective MNAs or MPAs, and emphasized that families of injured protestors would also be supported.
Framing the protests as a broader struggle for Pakistan’s honor and future, she stressed that loyalty to one’s leader and country is a core value, urging the nation to remain steadfast in their cause.
