Gold prices rebounded on Friday after a significant decline the previous day. In the local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs2,000, reaching Rs278,800. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,715, bringing it to Rs239,026.
On the international market, gold prices climbed by $21 per ounce, with the new global price reaching $2,683. This recovery follows a period of decreased gold prices and reflects renewed investor interest in the precious metal.

Despite the rise in gold prices, silver remained stable. The price of silver per tola stayed at Rs3,300, while the price per 10 grams held steady at Rs2,829.21.
The price increase follows Thursday’s sharp decline, when 24-carat gold per tola fell by Rs5,400 to Rs276,800, and 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs4,630 to Rs237,311. Internationally, gold had dropped by $65, settling at $2,662 per ounce.
