Maryam Nawaz has been suffering from this throat infection for a while and was scheduled to seek treatment abroad, possibly requiring surgery during her visit to London. If she travels tonight, it will mark her first international trip since assuming the chief minister role. PML-N President Nawaz Sharif is already in London, and it is anticipated that the father-daughter duo will return to Pakistan together after her treatment.

In February, Maryam Nawaz was sworn in as Pakistan’s first female chief minister, with Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman administering the oath following her election victory, where she secured 220 votes.
