Babar, Shaheen and Naseem return as Pakistan announces squad for Zimbabwe and Australia

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced four separate squads for their upcoming tours of Australia and Zimbabwe, covering both ODI and T20 formats. However, the PCB has yet to confirm the captain for these white-ball tours.

It is anticipated that the PCB chairman will reveal the white-ball captain during a press conference later today.

For the ODI series against Australia, set to begin on November 4, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah have been recalled after being left out of the recent Test series against England.

Fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain returns to the squad, along with newcomers Arafat Minhas, Irfan Khan Niazi, and Faisal Akram. Jahnadad Khan, Omair bin Yousuf, and Sufyan Muqeem join the T20 squad for the Australia series, while Ahmed Danyal, Qasim Akram, and Tayyab Tahir have been called up for the T20 series against Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, Shadab Khan, Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Imam-ul-Haq have been dropped, and opener Fakhar Zaman is unavailable due to fitness concerns.
