Gold prices in Pakistan experienced another decline on Friday, following trends in the global market.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs800, settling at Rs282,300, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs686, bringing it down to Rs242,027.

This recent drop comes after a significant decrease on Thursday, when gold prices fell by Rs2,300, closing at Rs283,100 per tola. Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, gold prices reached an all-time high of Rs285,400 per tola due to increased demand driven by economic and geopolitical uncertainties.
In the international market, gold prices dipped by $8 on Friday, reaching $2,726 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
On the other hand, silver prices remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola in the local market, showing no impact from the recent fluctuations in gold prices.
