Fujitsu has launched the FMV Zero Lifebook WU5/J3, positioning it as the world’s lightest 14-inch laptop at just 634 grams, targeting professionals who require extreme portability without compromising on performance. This innovative laptop is designed for on-the-go users who demand high productivity, especially in the era of remote work and frequent travel.

The FMV Zero Lifebook WU5/J3 is built using carbon fiber, meeting MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards, which guarantees durability against drops, shocks, and pressure, making it a resilient and long-lasting device. Despite its lightweight design, it packs robust features for users seeking powerful computing on the move.

The laptop comes with two processor options: the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U and the more powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 155U, both featuring AI Boost NPUs for hardware acceleration of AI-driven functionalities in Windows 11 and Office 2024, including the integrated CoPilot feature. The laptop also offers AI-powered noise cancellation to improve the quality of video calls by reducing background noise.

RAM starts at 8 GB and can be expanded up to 64 GB, while SSD storage options range from 256 GB to 2 TB, allowing users to customize the device according to their needs. For security, the laptop includes a fingerprint sensor, ensuring quick and secure logins.

In terms of connectivity, the FMV Zero Lifebook WU5/J3 includes a comprehensive set of ports, featuring two USB-A and two USB-C ports, a full-sized HDMI port, an Ethernet port, a microSD slot, and a headphone jack. The laptop’s battery life is rated between 6 to 11 hours, depending on usage patterns.

The laptop is currently available only in Japan, starting at $1,325.
