A police officer in Lahore, Rasheed, was suspended after a TikTok video showing him refusing to pay for a jar of honey from a roadside vendor went viral. The video sparked public outrage, prompting authorities to take swift action.

The incident unfolded when Rasheed took a jar of honey, promising to pay later, but the vendor insisted on immediate payment, leading to a heated exchange. The vendor was heard demanding, “Everyone saw you take the honey, now pay up,” while Rasheed dismissed the request, saying, “You call me ‘Chacha,’ but still ask for money?”

The video quickly spread on social media, drawing widespread criticism. In response, a police spokesperson confirmed Rasheed’s suspension and stated that dismissal proceedings have begun, reflecting the demand for accountability within law enforcement.
