Authorities have reportedly revoked the registration of Punjab College’s Campus 10 in Lahore following protests over the alleged rape of a female student.
The protests erupted after a security guard was accused of raping a student at the campus. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, with the students demanding accountability in this and other similar cases, also citing intimidation from the college administration.

Students from other colleges joined the protests outside Punjab College, accusing the administration of prioritizing its reputation over student safety and transparency. The accused security guard has been arrested, and Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Faisal Karman confirmed the formation of a special team to investigate the situation.
